Hiroko Hanamura is currently a third year bachelor of music student at Mount Allison University, where she studies with Dr. Stephen Runge. Hiroko was awarded the HP and LG Patterson Scholarship in 2013 for excellence in piano performance. Her passion lies in works by Romantic and 20th century composers, and has a growing interest in works by Japanese composers. At Mount Allison, Hiroko is active as a solo, collaborative and duo pianist. After completing her Bachelor’s degree, Hiroko intends to continue her education in Master's in piano performance.
