Welcome to Dublin’s 5th International Piano Festival & Summer Academy!

The leading programme of its kind in Ireland, DIPF attracts students and audiences from all over the world.
Backed by organisations including Fáilte Ireland, Dublin City Council, and the Arts Council, DIPF will be staged across Ireland’s capital from Saturday 22nd July to Sunday 30th July 2017. Now in its 5th year, the 9-day festival makes a much-anticipated return with a new season of exciting performances, lessons, masterclasses, and seminars featuring a stunning all-star line-up of celebrated multi- award-winning pianists.
These include virtuoso Russian Pianist, Boris Berezovsky, Gold Medalist at the Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition, renowned American Pianist and pedagogue, Frederic Chiu, Professor Evelyne Brancart from the Jacobs School of Music of Indiana University in Bloomington, Dr. Gabriele Baldocci from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance who won the Alessandro Casagrande International Piano Competition, Sony recording artist Francesco Tristano, Dr. Orla McDonagh, Head of Conservatory, Dublin Institute of Technology DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama and Artistic Director of the festival Dr. Archie Chen.
With the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins, as Patron, the 5th annual showcase of the world’s finest pianists will be staged at various venues across Dublin city including The National Concert Hall, Dublin Institute of Technology DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, and Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane.
