The festival’s Artistic Director and founder Dr Archie Chen will be joined by Evelyne Brancart Professor of Music (Piano) at Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington for a special recital. Together, they will bring some of Schubert’s most exhilarating work to life, setting the tone for 2017’s festival. Join Brancart and Chen as they perform Fantasie in F minor and Sonata for Piano Duet in C major, ‘Grand Duo’, D. 812. Regarded as one of the most prolific and innovative composers of the early 19th century, the music of Schubert performed live will be a delight for musicians and fans alike.
